Are Wellness Nest ingredients organic?Updated 6 days ago

Most Wellness Nest supplements are not USDA organic certified, and there’s an important reason for that.

What does “organic certified” actually mean?

In the U.S., the USDA Organic certification mainly applies to agricultural products:
  • Crops that are grown under specific organic farming rules

  • Livestock raised according to organic standards

  • Simple processed foods where the entire supply chain (farm → processing → packaging) is audited and certified as organic

It is designed for things like fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy, meat, and some basic packaged foods—not for complex, concentrated supplement formulas.

Why our supplements are not labeled organic?

Many of our key ingredients do not fitthe USDA Organic framework, even though they are natural and carefully sourced. For example:
  • Shilajit is wild-harvested from high-altitude mountain rocks, not grown on a farm—so it cannot be certified organic in the conventional sense.

  • Products like MenoMate and FloraFresh contain standardized plant extracts, probiotics, and functional actives that go through multiple processing steps to concentrate specific compounds. These finished formulas are not submitted as USDA Organic products.

Because of this, it would be misleading for us to use the word “organic” on the label, even though the ingredients are naturally derived and thoroughly tested.

What we focus on instead?

Even without an organic seal, we prioritize:
  • High-quality, functional ingredients selected for their role in the formula

  • Manufacturing in GMP-certified, FDA-registered facilities

  • Batch testing for purity, heavy metals, and contaminants

  • Avoiding unnecessary preservatives, harsh chemicals, and cheap fillers

If you have specific concerns about pesticides, contaminants, or farming practices, you can always review the Supplement Facts label and contact our Customer Experience Team for more detailed information on a given product.
